The Big Bike Ride DVD - Two Grannies Cycle Across Canada

In the year when Chris Hoy took the gold medal in both the European Championships and the Olympics and Mark Beaumont set his round-the-world record, two Scots grannies decided to also enter the record books. Mave Patterson and Penny Weir planned to spend their 70th birthdays by cycling across Canada. Along the 3-month journey they encounter all kinds of obstacles but when Penny encounters a heart problem the whole trip is suddenly in jeopardy and Mave faces a dilemma - to press on and claim a record, or support her friend.
