Making A Purchase
Making a purchase of a map could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and add to basket the map/s you wish to buy, be sure to select the correct format if there is a choice (for example, paper map or encapsulated map). This will then take you to your basket. Then you just click proceed to checkout to complete the order and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Electron and Solo.
Amex and Diners Club are not accepted.
Shipping And Handling
Shipping charges depend on type and weight of map products ordered and delivery location.
Your map order is processed immediately and generally dispatched within 48 hours. UK orders for maps are normally delivered within 7 business days . International orders for maps are generally received in under 14 days. For a product to be sent ‘next day’, the order must be placed before noon Monday to Friday.
We use Royal Mail 1st Class service, Royal Mail Parcels and Parcelforce to deliver our products. Therefore at busy times, such as Bank Holidays and Christmas, please allow for usual delays.
For overseas delivery, maps over 900mm are likely to incur an additional postage charge. Please contact us for details.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait for your map.
Where appropriate VAT at 20% will be added to the order, you will see this on your checkout total. Note that maps and guidebooks do not attract VAT in the UK but posters and map data do.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit SSL encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We appreciate that you can’t ‘handle’ our map products like you could in a shop so we guarantee you a full refund if the map product you order from our map shop doesn't meet your expectations.

The XYZ Digital Map Company Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
Software products delivered on sealed CDs, such as the CityMaps on CD or MAPublisher, may only be returned for a refund if the sealed package is intact. Should the medium be defective or damaged we will replace it, but we are not able to offer refunds once the package has been opened. We also reserve the right not to accept custom map or atlas products for return.

Although we promise to do all we can to achieve delivery deadlines, we like others can not give any guarantees, on this basis claims for consequential loss against The XYZ Digital Map Company will not be accepted.
All orders for maps and atlases will be dispatched within 1 working day following cleared payment being received.
If you need to return a product, please include the delivery note stating the reason for return.
